In 1995, under the name Günel Ticaret, three brothers, Mehmet Günel, Erkin Günel, and Behaettin Günel, started our business. We began our first sales with the support of our father, Mahmut Günel, who never withheld his help, and the support of our family elder, Salih Hergüner, who secured our first store location.

After many years of determined work, honesty, a friendly attitude, and prioritising quality products, in 2014, we entered a new era under the name "Big Orange Home and Garden Centre," symbolizing the growth and change within our company. Since our store location used to be an orchard of Yafa oranges, we carried the name "Big Orange" to our brand to preserve this memory. We combined this special name with both our respect for the past and the fresh energy we brought to our business.

Over the years, with the dedication and disciplined work of our committed employees, we have continued on our path, always prioritising customer satisfaction. The efforts and commitment of our employees, as well as the trust of our customers, have become the most valuable sources of our strength.

As of today, we are the official dealer of the STIHL brand in Northern Cyprus, we have included this world-famous brand among our high-quality and reliable products. To provide the best service to our customers, we are opening a new showroom where fully equipped machines are tested and tried. In this showroom, located very close to our main store, we will offer our customers the opportunity to experience our products first hand.

As a company, we attach great importance to environmental and social sustainability. In line with these principles, electricity usage of our main store site is sourced 80% from solar energy. This reflects the importance we place on energy efficiency and environmentally friendly practices. Additionally, we support various schools, institutions, and organizations in the region to contribute to social development.
